Nominated contacts

The people who help you — on terms you set in advance.

A partner, adult child, executor or trusted friend. You choose exactly what they see today, what unlocks in a crisis, and how it's verified. No live consent from you at the moment of unlock — because in the moments that matter you may be unconscious, incapacitated or gone. Every access level is consent-based, auditable, and reversible while you're well.

Three access levels

Pick the right level per contact. Change it any time.

View only

They see exactly what you've shared. Nothing hidden ever unlocks.

Best for

Adult children who help you stay organised. A trusted friend keeping an eye on renewals.

  1. Invite email

They receive an invitation summarising your role choice and what's being shared. One click to accept or decline.

  2. They sign in

Once accepted, they see only the items you've explicitly shared — nothing else, ever.

  3. Change alerts

You're notified when they view something. You can revoke access at any time.

Release on verified event

They see nothing today. Access unlocks after STEADCALM verifies a qualifying event.

Best for

Your executor. A partner or adult child who needs the full picture only when the worst happens.

  1. Invite with agreement

They accept a plain-English agreement covering which events unlock what, and their duty of care.

  2. Nothing visible today

Zero live consent from you is needed at the moment of unlock — you set the rules once, in advance.

  3. STEADCALM verifies

Death certificate, medical incapacity confirmation, or documented emergency — reviewed by our team against a strict SLA.

  4. Automatic unlock

On verification, the pre-agreed scope unlocks. They get a secure access link; your estate gets a full audit trail.

Can request emergency unlock

They can request unlock in a crisis. You approve, deny, or the request escalates.

Best for

A partner who may need urgent medical or financial access. A close friend covering a natural-disaster displacement.

  1. Invite with agreement

They accept an agreement including your response window and escalation ladder.

  2. They request unlock

In a crisis, they submit a request via the contact portal with reason and urgency.

  3. You're notified instantly

Push, SMS and email — with one-tap Approve or Deny.

  4. If you can't respond

After your chosen window (6h / 24h / 72h, or skip to STEADCALM), the request escalates to your other contacts, then to our verification team. Nothing releases without a check.

  5. Full audit trail

Every request, notification, escalation and release is logged for you and your estate.

The consent principle

You give consent once — so no one has to guess later.

In an emergency, when you're very unwell, or after your death you cannot authorise anything. Traditional systems ask for consent at the moment of crisis — which is exactly when you can't give it. STEADCALM inverts that: you set the rules while you're well, in writing, and every rule is auditable.

No contact receives ID document uploads or the last 4 digits of your ID for general-purpose access. That level of identity proofing exists only in our professional verification flow, run by STEADCALM staff, and only when an event trigger is being verified.

Every state change — invite sent, accepted, revoked, request submitted, approved, denied, escalated, verified, unlocked — is logged in an immutable audit trail available to you and, if it comes to it, your estate.

Set it once. Change it any time.
